This type of ASA impact modifier has a crosslinked poly(butyl acrylate) core with grafted SAN shell. It provided superior weatherability and impact modification while producing ASA, PC/ASA and PVC/ASA. It is targeted for use in painted automotive applications, electrical/electronic components, appliances, business machines, lawn and garden equipment, and recreational vehicles where ease of processing, thermal stability, excellent impact and a good balance of physical properties are important.
